The Columbia Club’s Beefsteak Dinner symbolizes a significant part of the Clubs history as Columbias gather together to recognize some very special people who have had a considerable impact on the growth and development of our great city and state.
The Benjamin Harrison Medallions evolved 40 years ago to celebrate the accomplishments of distinguished citizens. An interesting piece of history that some may not know, is that during the 1983 Beefsteak Dinner, the Club’s designation to the National Register of Historic Places was announced. That makes this evening more memorable as we applaud the significance of our Clubhouse and how it relates to American history.
